"On Saturday, a 28-year-old woman turned up dead when the three-minute Goliath coaster ride came to an end at Six Flags Magic Mountain amusement park in Valencia, California. It has now been determined that the roller coaster killed her. Autopsy results on Pearl Santos concluded that she died of an aneurysm of the cerebral artery and bleeding near her brain stem. While the aneurysm may have been a pre-existing condition, Lt. Fred Corral of the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office has ruled that it was the roller coaster that caused the fatal injuries. "This was due to an accident on the ride, due to injuries she sustained. It was a not a natural cause of death," Corral said. It's not yet known if whiplash from the roller coaster or other factors caused the aneurysm to rupture.[...]"
