napoleonherselfSo once we spend about an hour getting maurice's PPP settings to play nice with AT&T's servers, the talk turns to slightly less important matters.
Scene: brother has no idea how to start an AIM conversation. AIM works fine, he can send messages just fine once someone else starts the conversation, but he can't figure out how to send the first message.
Me: "You just double-click my name [on buddy list window], and a new window will open up. Then just type a message and hit enter."
Him: (very excited) "THAT'S what I wasn't doing! I wasn't typing a message!"
......
Is it me?
