Sometimes it just easier to do it yourself.. -.-

I feel your pain though..in a different way..try explaing how to properly rip a DVD and make a working AVS file and use an editing program they think will make them an award winning video on it's own.. when they refuse to install the app that was designed specificly for that very thing..refuse to read the help guides written by people far more experianced than I am..and while they know next to nothing about what they're doing expect you to tell them how to make a video (step by step mind you) to rival the top editors on AMV.org -.-

And I was thinking..if he's using Firefox..why not use the adblocker that it has as well as Spybot..That is assuming you can get him to understand how to set it up -.-

He is using it, I think -- the ads that are popping up are IE windows, not Firefox. Isn't the adblocker on by default? I thought it was, anyway. And at any rate, something.

Oddly enough, for some time now, Firefox has allowed the popup at a particular webpage (the Snopes "What's New" page) and I can't figure out why. It's not in my list of sites allowed popups, and there's nothing I can figure about those popups that makes them any different from the rest of the popups.
