Okay, I know there's a lot of terrorist-related hoaxes going around, but this one is true, I swear. I heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from her hairdresser who heard it from his cousin who heard it from her neighbor who heard it from her daughter who heard it from her former roommate, so it must be true!

You see, apparently my friend's friend's hairdresser's cousin's neighbor's daughter's former roommate was dating a guy from Afghanistan right up to the week before the attacks. He disappeared, she got a letter from him telling her to not get on an airplane on September 11, not to go to any malls on Halloween, plus, on top of this, he pleaded with her not to go to her job or her classes at any time during the month of November.

In light of the 9/11 attacks, she immediately of course turned the letter over to the local cops, who then passed it on to the Effa Bee Eye. Considering the fact that one of my friend's friend's hairdresser's cousin's neighbor's daughter's former roommate's ex-boyfriend's warnings has come true, I'd suggest we treat the others with all due gravity, especially that last one. Therefore, we should all stay home and chill for the entire month of November.

It's for our own good.

Yeah I know. I've just have seen so many assholes since I came on LJ that don't get a joke and have to point out obvious facts about silly post. I just wondered what the view was like from up on a high horse.

Seriously, doesn't it seem like half the posts you read have responses from some no-it-all that feels they have to be like that. I saw one last week where someone posted a onion article, then someone responded with a silly response. Can you believe someone had the balls enough to post to the response to the onion article, "You do know the onion isn't real...." Well duh. Of course we know. Thanks for calling our attention to the man behind the curtain.

Okay, I'll stop being an ass now. I'm bored and just wanted to know what it was like to be a smug bastard.

Man, let me tell you, it just plain sucks. Plus I think I had what felt like was a carrot up my ass the whole time (and not in a good way either). Plus I kept having feelings that by calling attention to the obvious, I was somehow getting back at all of those cool kids in high school that picked on me. When in fact, I wanted shoot myself in the head the whole time.

Long story short (I know, too late), next time someone posts like that I can actually say I know what it's like to be them. Then laugh really hard and tell them what a messed up loser they are.

I heard that too! And I actually know the girl! Well...ok, I saw a picture of her when she won her sixth grade spelling bee, but that's besides the point! It's so true! I'm glad you left out the very last part of it though. The part about what's supposed to happen on December 13th...that part would've just started a panic.
