I downloaded something through AudioGalaxy 'cause it had Paul Frees's name on it, and Paul Frees rocks... and oh wow oh wow, it's a song from some animated/Claymation/whatever Christmas special that I REMEMBER! I RECOGNIZE THIS SONG! I don't remember exactly what special it was from, but I recognize it!
Okay, so maybe this isn't such a big deal to most people, but see, I have this thing where I forget things. Lots of things. Whole years of my childhood -- hell, whole years of my teenagehood too -- are almost entirely, and rather frighteningly, blank. Then I stumble across something familiar, and suddenly it's stirring up all sorts of other memories and I can almost hear the celestial chorus singing at me.
I need to poke Andrew about this, and he'll probably know the name of the thingy, and maybe I can find it on eBay like I did with Will Vinton's Comedy of Horrors (it had a snail in it, it did!), and then I will be happy...
I'm posting too much, I know, but in about fifteen minutes I'll be leaving to walk down to my sister's school and get her, and then you'll all be safe from me for at least an hour or so. :P
