And incidentally, I did go to the place and take the aptitude test thingy. It was worse than I feared. I spent fifteen minutes going through a list telling whether I'd like or dislike doing various things. Then I spent fifteen minutes going through a list of job skills and clicking the very very very very very very very few I had. At the end I was told what sort of jobs I might be interested in. Uh, yeah, thanks, but my problem is that I don't know what to MAJOR in, you [extremely long line of swear words censored] idiots.
I can't even go to the AAC again tomorrow because dad is going to be kidnapping me to look at his &%(#&%*(&@ing computer. Not that they could help me anyway. They certainly didn't help me before.
I just don't know. I seriously just don't know.

Anyhow, sympathy on both counts... sorry the AAC was no help.
And as to the other post- I'm sorry, I'm having cognitive dissonance putting you and stupid, or you and foolish, in the same sentence. Doesn't work.
You're going through a tough time, but don't take it out on yourself, hrm?

style URLs with

style URLs- notice the extra 'journal=' bit at the end.
This allows the 'itemid=' bit at the end to be a much smaller number, because it can be local to the journal (personal or community), rather than global to LJ.
This I think is a reason why they think clustering is going to (and already is) speeding up LJ by considerable amounts. They're clustering a number of people in bunches all the time. When a group of people is clustered, however, their journals are read-only.

The comment style business was raised in another recent post to
Dunno.
Ah. Last track of this CD I'm listening to, now. "Danza Festiva." Time for me to change it, soon. Always glad to have received this one (a gift from a friend...)

Seems I was right about clustering being meant to improve efficiency and speed, but quite mistaken about why. See
