Becky gave me her copy of House Party (expansion pack for Sims), along with the serial number.

The serial number was wrong.

One digit was missing from a string of seven digits. I had no way of knowing which digit, or from which position. So I basically went through all the permutations till I got the right one in the right place. It was a double 1 that she missed one of.

Earlier I made a phone call. This was bad enough; talking on the phone is hard for me. I have phonophobia. Even worse, it was a call about a job that would be really easy and that would also be guaranteed till at least June 2003. No pressure, Jenny. So of course no one was there. And I left a message. And now I get to wait and wait. Will there be no call back because I didn't leave my number clearly enough? Don't know. Will there be no call back because they already got someone and they don't feel like telling me to look elsewhere? Don't know. Will there be no call back because the answering machine DIED? Don't know. I just get to wait.

!Whee.

i used to have the worse phonophobia ever. i used to
hyperventilate when the phone would ring at work. i tried
all kinds of tricks to make myself relax. it never worked.
finally i started taking paxil and it works wonders.
although some days i still have trouble. good luck on the
job finding hunt.

House Party is fun! Make them rasberry at each other! (or is that in hot date? I can never member.) I just got the vacation one, and it's been delighting me. I like taking rude kids on vacation and getting fined, heeeeee.

I haven't seen any raspberry options yet. Having too much fun throwing repeated parties to really notice, though.
