I still don't get Republicans

Cheney claims, with a straight face, that the best way to combat poverty in this country is to "make America the best place in the world to do business."

Translation: more tax cuts and similar goodies for the rich. The poor can just wait for trickle-down economics to magically start working.

Discuss.

(also fascinating: his claim that there are fewer suicide bombings in Israel than there used to be, because Saddam isn't loose anymore. um. huh?)

What happened to those commercials, anyway? I loved them. Of course, I saved the quicktime version that was on Quizno's site, but still. Singing along with the TV is fun.
