I can relate to that forest thing. Amusing how when politicians use propoganda when the greater public already knows better. In Australia anyway, if the bush burns now, it'll be nice, little and controlable. If we stop it now, it'll be a fire storm later and then we're up shit creek without a paddle... I don't think it's that different in America...

Deforestation isn't going to do much either. It'll just force the wild life from the woods into suburbia and the conservationists wont be happy with that, will they?
