Oh, that's what I forgot to mention. You've bought some amount of doubloons, right? If I'm not mistaken, a recent change to the everfamous Ice Ocean (http://www.puzzlepirates.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=20338) (testbed ocean) made it so that, in addition to subscribers, anyone who's bought doubloons has access.

Ice plays like a subscriber ocean, just smaller.

I tried to get on it about a week ago, but it still claimed to be subscriber-only then... I would like to try housing, though. That sounds lovely. CLOSETS

Add to that the fact you can deck out your ships as well, and aye. I've got me a nice potted plant up in the crow's nest of my sloop.

Though I could swear one of the bits on the Ice changelog said doubloon-holders could get on... Could be mistaken, since I don't see it there now.

Wait, yep, there it is. Under 2005-07-18 in the changelog (http://ice.puzzlepirates.com/docs/changelog.html). I'd say bug an OM or dev in Viridian if you still can't get on.
