Various userpics that I don't use at the moment but am happy to share; also, my new official depository for such, instead of a directory on my unreliable-thanks-to-comcast server. The panda ones are new. They're cuuuuuuute.

I would like to point out that my birthday is May 27th. Feel free to give me a present. Don't make me make the big sad eyes of scanner-less-ness.

Those of you who have already paid for stickers, I swear I will get them mailed out just as soon as I can get mecha to take me to the post office.

The dialogue is, of course, fake.

Not all the new comics are shaded, mind. I don't intend to keep shading. It takes way too long. But this storyline bit sort of demands it.

You'll see what I mean.

I miss merv.

Hee hee, I had forgotten this. It's for the Keenvention way back in early '01. The fine upstanding young man next to yours truly would be Chris. (maybe if I start linking to that a lot, he'll start updating again!)

From when I didn't know what a wolverine looked like.

Once upon a time I was planning to end Snail Dust and move on to another project. I had a cast, a concept, the outline of a plot... but I never felt artistically ready to tackle it. So I never did. And so it died. But I did a lot of bits of art for it meanwhile. Like this page with fake dialog instead of what they were really talking about.

Hey, I had forgotten drawing this. (for Chris)

And I never did do anything with this.

Dangit, I can't find the thing I really wanted to post. I'd scan it afresh, but that is hard to do when you have no scanner.
So. Foxtrot, Get Fuzzy, Pearls Before Swine... are there any others? This is, like, my favorite April Fool's thing ever, and I don't even LIKE fishday.

Also, . It screamed to be made an icon. I might get around to using it someday...

Yeah. Yeah, that sure looks legit. I'll get right on the part where I give my login information away.
So mecha's sister and her fiance are getting married soon. Aw, how sweet.

Here is the invitation (please ignore that it is crumply it was in my jacket pocket for a couple days until I remembered it existed):

Aw.

But wait -- what's it actually say?

Heh heh heh.

Sarah and Ted rock.
Mmmmm... time to enjoy some sweet, sweet chocolate! Why, here's a candy bar purchased from our friendly neighborhood Meijer.

But wait... what's this?

Curses! It appears that my plans have been expertly foiled by the Nestle company. I cannot eat this candy bar, as it is not for girls.

Now that's just mean.

and no screenshot of bold italic because it still does the PSP crashy crashy

If anyone has the latest PSP (9, I believe) and would like to test these for me given what text to try and at what size and stuff, please do leave a comment. It crashes LESS with [livejournal.com profile] chrisxk's PSP7 than with my 6, but I'm still wondering if maybe it takes newen software to not crash at all.

also,
[cilbuP] Stepping into the Twilight Zone, Tom takes an MCSE sample exam online.
[cilbuP] Stepping into the Twilight Zone, Tom says, "My, but that is a very stupid test"
[cilbuP] Owner of Chris's eyebrows, Jenny says, "'Who is buried in Grant's tomb?'"
[cilbuP] Stepping into the Twilight Zone, Tom says, "Errr... especially since this online sample test has wrong answers..."
[cilbuP] Owner of Chris's eyebrows, Jenny says, "'Santa Claus'"
okay so you have this

and then i finally come up with this

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME

[livejournal.com profile] chrisxk: OOMPA LOOMPA DOOMPADEE DOO, THIS NOTE IS WORTH ONE DOLLAR FOR YOU
[livejournal.com profile] chrisxk: OOMPA LOOMPA DOOMPADEE DEE, TO COUNTERFEIT IS A FELONY

Also, it is snowing. And sticking a bit, even.
<--- clicky (movie originally on charismabomb.com)

also, spam scares me
napoleonherself: (borg)
my computer is IN A BOX

NO SERIOUSLY

a box MADE OF CARDBOARD

LOOK, SEE

BOX MADE OF CARDBOARD

I'm having too much fun with this.

(the second picture is the empty case, now being used for parts storage. the last picture is my favorite. my computer is like a hillbilly's rusted-out old truck on cinderblocks! only, y'know, new and shiny, so more like a Mercedes on cinderblocks.)

[edit] oops this post was in the future my bad
(<--- clicky)

The Rose House following eventually. You can see previews of the objects in the walls-and-floors screenshots, though, because I am evil. Or something.
There are a bunch of assholes on campus with signs saying things like 'FAGS BURN IN HELL'. I have just made my own sign, and will soon be joining them.

If I never return, it is because these fine, upstanding Christian individuals killed me for daring to disagree with them and their loving, benevolent god.

Edit: Okay, so mecha changed my mind and I'm not going. Apparently it isn't worth it since these are just guys who do this almost professionally, swooping by once a year to protest until they're kicked out of town again. Still. Assholes. Grr.

(boxed section included to show the full subject line once I enlarge the field enough)

I mean, c'mon. Bajillions of these go out every day, to people who EXPECT to get them. It's like a spammer's dream.

(yes, I have one of those 419 emails. I LOVE those. Always make sure to download 'em whenever a new one shows up on the mailserver. This one is especially cute, and I should share it when I get less lazy.)
Seen at Lowe's tonight: Woodworking for Women. Apparently this informative publication teaches the fairer sex how to construct such things as "a kids' yard toss game", "a chick tote for easter eggs", and "a closet organizer". I'm sure a coming issue will detail how to make a darling little shelf on which to display photos of all the kids you've popped out.

As mecha put it: "Also in the same series: Building for Blacks! Housework for Hispanics! Insulation for Irish!"

Honestly. Is it just me? Or in this case, us?

Also, my costume for the Halloween partyish thing I'll be going to tomorrow is done. Oibserve:

No wonder the windows are rattling like mad.
